Consultation (10 minutes)
During your consultation, we will discuss your eyebrow goals, shape of your existing brows, and the problem areas you wish to address. If you have any concerns, we will be happy to address them and help you decide on a treatment plan that will work for you.
Cleaning, Mapping, and Numbing (45 minutes)
During this part of the procedure, your brows will be cleansed and sanitized with an alcohol pad. We will begin measuring and mapping the desired brow shape using an eyebrow pencil. After achieving your desired shape, numbing cream will be applied with a sterile applicator and left to set for 30 minutes. During this time, we will review the aftercare instructions.
Procedure (Approximately 1 hour- 1.5 hours)
The microblading procedure begins. Procedure time can vary depending on the number of passes required to achieve the desired look.
As the skin heals, be prepared for your brows to appear significantly larger, sharper, and more intense. The color will oxidize and darken over the first few days but soften once fully healed. The healing process will take a number of days, depending on how quickly your skin heals and regenerates. Certain factors such as excess consumption of alcohol can delay this process. Swelling and redness is normal and varies per person. The area may even appear uneven, dry, or itchy. This is a part of the healing process and will go away within a few hours or days. It is important to resist any urges to pick at the area. Keep the area moisturized by following the post-care instructions.
Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: fever, excess redness at the site, excess swelling, excess tenderness of the procedure site, elevated body temperature, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, and/or any green/yellow discharge that is foul in odor.
